Abeles and Hoffman, PC recently announced Michele Duvall, CPA has joined its firm as senior accountant. In this new position, Duvall will provide comprehensive tax services to her clients. She graduated with her bachelor’s of science degree in Accounting from Missouri State University and received her master’s of accounting degree from the University of Utah.
Elliott Davis, LLC Names New Assurance Manager
Elliott Davis, LLC recently selected Helen Dowbak, CPA as assurance manager in its Greenville, South Carolina, office. Dowbak will oversee auditing employee benefit plans and manufacturing, distribution and other commercial companies. She received her bachelor of arts degree in accountancy and Spanish from Wofford College and her master of accountancy degree from Clemson University.
Holthouse Carlin & Van Trigt LLP Names New Tax Partner
Holthouse Carlin & Van Trigt LLP recently announced it has selected Dennis Ito as tax partner at its Encino office. Ito has experience managing his own practice and will consult with private business owners, investors, retirees and executives regarding their income, retirement and estate tax compliance. His experience includes more than 30 years working for KPMG and he currently sits on the advisory board for the Leventhal School of Accounting. Ito received a business degree from USC.
Lewis & Knopf, CPAs, PC Adds New Junior Staff Accountant
Lewis & Knopf, CPAs, PC recently announced the addition of a junior staff accountant, Kami Dean. Dean provides tax return services to individuals and helps with audit work for auto dealership and school district clients. She graduated from Baker College with a Bachelor of Business Administration degree in accounting.
